Psychic Insight – A Recent Rescue Mediumship Experience

Hello everyone! I had a unique experience a few days ago that I wanted to share to shed light on the concept of rescue mediumship. Last week, I had a wonderful rescue experience that I’d like to share.

As I discussed in a previous blog post (https://www.therescuemedium.com/insight-afterlife-soultransiti/), I explored the possible outcomes of the soul after passing. In many cases, souls successfully transition to the Soul Realm, but there are times when a soul fails to do so, becoming “stuck” between our realm (Earth) and the Soul Realm. Some psychic mediums, like myself, are specifically called to assist these spirits in their transition.

The other night, as I walked upstairs to my bedroom to prepare for dinner with my wife, I was hit by an unusual energy blast that I don’t normally feel. Based on my experience, this sensation indicates the presence of another person in a room or area, whether they are physical or spiritual. Sensing this new energy, I immediately felt intense fear and sadness, confirming to me that I was dealing with a lost soul and not a negative entity.

Using this energetic connection, I was able to locate the spirit quite easily. He appeared to be a young child, perhaps around 14 years old, hiding on the opposite side of the bed, sitting on the ground with his knees pressed into his chest, visibly shaking. It was clear from his clothing that he had been in this state for some time. His attire resembled that of someone who might have worked on a pirate ship in his lifetime—a long, flowing white button-down shirt, a vest, and worn, ragged pants that were torn at the bottom. He had no shoes, just dirty feet.

I sat down beside him on the bed and reassured him that he was safe here in our house and that there was nothing to be afraid of. Still whimpering, he responded with a quiet “yes, sir.” I proceeded to explain the guidelines we have for our spirit guests (yes, we have rules), to which he nodded in agreement. I then pointed out a specific room where these guests can stay undisturbed and begin to heal emotionally. I assured him that we could meet the next day to talk and start the transition process when he felt ready.

Rescue Time

Later that evening, after returning from dinner and heading to bed, the child reached out to me. He was ready to move on; he just needed reassurance and a feeling of safety. I began the process of opening a transition portal and watched as he moved through the tunnel. Usually, the soul continues traveling until it’s out of my sight, but this time was different. About halfway through, two adults—a man and a woman—appeared and warmly embraced the child. Immediately, I knew they were his parents who had been waiting for him to transition. Tears streamed down everyone’s faces, including mine, as the overwhelming emotional love filled the room. The father turned to me and asked a simple question two or three times in a row: “How did you find him?” I replied, “He found me,” and we shared a chuckle. He thanked me profusely before the reunited family continued their journey until they disappeared from view.

This event was one of those rescues that I will never forget and serves as a reminder of why I continue to practice this form of mediumship to this day. After helping hundreds of lost souls, a successful rescue like this one never loses its impact!
